ASTI : WINE TOUR AND LOCAL GASTRONOMY IN AMAZING NATURAL SCENERIES AND VILLAGES WITH A MEDIEVAL ATMOSPHERE
A unique experience that it is worth to remember and to tell. A place where you can share the knowledge of local history and traditions, and of the typical products offered by the region.
The territory of Asti, with its elegant atmosphere and wealth of traditions, offers tourists countless ways to explore the food, wine and culture that make this area unique.
The province of Asti is at the heart of Piedmont and its southern area borders on Liguria. The essentially hilly territory stretches over Monferrato and a small area of Langhe, called Langa Astigiana, and is crossed by the Tanaro River. The alternating mild hills and valleys create spectacular landscapes, with vineyards stretches and a spectacular mixture of colours and tones.
Piemonte's cuisine is heavily influenced by French cooking and uses lots of marinated meats and vegetables, so it comes as no surprise to learn that the increasingly popular Slow Food movement started here, while the local white truffles are considered to be Italy's best.
