It is extremely varied, requiring players to use all their irons. RIVA DEI TESSALI GOLF CLUB is located in one of the most charming areas in South Italy, in the heart of Magna Greece and 70 Km from Bari. The golf course, one of the most famous in the South of Italy, is to be found in a real oasis called "Riva dei Tessali".The Riva dei Tessali Golf Resourt offers to the many tourist golfers coming from Italy as much as from different european countries, a second new most attractive and challenging course, 18 holes, par 72 and 6.284 metres long.
METAPONTO GOLF CLUB, Located in area of Metaponto - a Greek archaeological zone - the new course is at 10 minutes drive from the well known old course. Whilst the old course is surrounded by a long pine forest, the new course has totally different mediterranean landscape which develops between orange and olive trees.
COCCARO Golf Club has its own 9 holes Golf, in an incredible setting with huge olive groves overlooking the sea with sand and pitching green, putting green and driving range. The Golf Club is immersed in 1109 mq2 of nature and relax, the course is a par 27 with driving range, putting green, pitching green and bunker area.
SAN DOMENICO GOLF CLUB is just 1 km distance from Masseria Torre Coccaro. "San Domenico Golf" course lies near the small fisherman village of Savelletri, with its southern boundary as close to the sea as the road and rocky coastline will allow. To the north are the olive groves and agricultural fields the site was once part of. The formerly flat and featureless land is now a challenging 18 hole golf course which offers an unforgettable experience for visitors and superb view of the Adriatic Sea from every tee, green and fairway.
ACAYA GOLF CLUB, not far from the fortified town of Acaya, near the Adriatic coast, about 10 kilometres from Lecce, the course and the facilities of the Acaya Golf Club are part of the Apulian Golf Board.The golf course covers an area of 120 hectares. It is surrounded by a thick wood of holly-oaks, by vast olive-groves and rare spontaneous flora, which give to the area a typical Mediterranean aspect. The golf course with 18 championship holes is situated in this area of extraordinary beauty. The holes are placed in the strips of land not occupied by the marquis bushes, the typical Mediterranean vegetation surrounding it. From the fortified farmhouse which has been converted into the Club House there is a splendid view over the course, with the two large lakes that flank the 1st and the 18th holes.
